TTTM, in collaboration with other like-minded NGOs, successfully organized a rally against gender-based violence in Addis Ababa on September 20, 2008 to demand government bodies and the justice system take actions against the perpetrators of violence. The rally was initiated following the death of a 13-year girl after being brutally rapped. Thousands of women, men and school children participated in the rally.

Recently, TTTM upgraded its potential of providing services from 20 to 30 survivors of violence. As part of the expansion, TTTM established a drop in center at the head office to provide counseling services for women who survivors of violence. The new office and drop in center is located on the way from 22 Mazoria to Bole Medhanialem adjacent to Bole Health Center.
